Fair Haven Glass Wood Metal grew out of Rick Alvarez's love of nature and fine craftsmanship. An avid naturalist who has worked in the lumber industry since 1987, initially as a yard assistant, subsequently performing millwork, and ultimately working in sales, Rick has also worked as a carpenter for a local contractor.
Rick's work in wood, stained glass, and metal combines an understanding of materials and construction with a keen eye for art and design. Pieces are custom-made to the demands of the client.
Fair Haven Glass Wood Metal is now run out of Rick's shop in Fair Haven, Vermont.
